Hi, I'm Deborah.
I'm a conceptual and strategic thinker based in Berlin, currently learning how to code in the Web Development Bootcamp of Le Wagon in Berlin.

During the last 5 years I've gathered experience as a Product and UX Designer advocating for human needs in the fields of autonomous driving with a focus on  pod-to-human interactions and inclusive design as well as at the intersection of design and therapeutic treatment. I enjoy the process of understanding users’ needs, and am dedicated to finding the right solutions which are both responsible and desirable.

Apart from work I’m passionate about cheese 🧀, weight lifting 🏋🏻, reading good books and articles 📚 and taking pictures of useless things to feed my instagram. 🤷🏻

Check out my experience and approach below or feel free to drop a line or find me on LinkedIn!

My Experience
I hold an MA in Design with a specialization in Interface from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and a BA in Product Design from the University of the Arts Berlin and have gained 5 years of working experience with a range of interdisciplinary team members including scientists, designers, engineers, developers, business professionals and therapists. I recently got into coding and fell in love with it. Currently digging deeper in Frontend and Backend development.

My Approach
I have extensive experience in conducting qualitative user research and translating user insights into design principles and desirable future products and services. Working alongside interdisciplinary teams, I have designed digital, tangible prototypes and interfaces which have been used to drive iterative user testing and implementation cycles. Organizational tasks included project management and sprint planning, engaging with various stakeholders as well as planning and executing workshops. I love working hands-on and quickly jumping into building designs and prototypes for feedback-driven development.
